A 5 year, ongoing project documenting the local farms around my hometown of Barnoldswick during the spring & summer months as they make silage for winter cattle feed. The farms do around 3 - 4 cuts per year and its a guessing game as to when they'll be doing it – location, weather, timing and my availability to be present as it's happening are all served up with no control whatsoever - miss it and its a long wait for the next cut.
